8 Day Safari: Moremi, Kwai River, Savuti and Chobe
Day 1:
Pick-up at Vic Falls – Livingstone airport. Cross border Botswana ASAP, driving south-east. Arrive at Elephant Sands in time to have sundowners with our Elephant Hosts…..

Day 2:
Leave fairly early via Nata, Gweta towards Maun. We will enjoy lunch in Maun, do our last shopping, turning back north-east past Shorobe on our way to Mankwe Bush Lodge (Place of the Leopard). We will set camp under a Camelthorn tree while you will enjoy your bush shower.

Day 3:
After coffee and rusks we Game drive towards Moremi entering the Park at South Gate. If lucky we may see a lot of animals and predators soon. Reach our campsite Third Bridge, the furthest camp in Moremi and set camp yet again under huge shade trees.

Day 4:
It is with laziness that we leave Third Bridge through Xaxanaxa Camp, heading towards North Gate. Yet again we will be able to see lots of animals. Camp will be set in the vast open spaces of North Gate campsite.

Day 5:
We get to sleep in a bit later, see us leave the campsite after a good meal, in the direction of the Kwai River. Hippo’s will be “lunch” a lion kill “dinner” and hyenas visiting our campsite at Mababe during the night “dessert…..”

Day 6:
As the early morning sun kisses our faces we enter the Park yet again, driving the Savuti Marsh route (lots of Zebra’s and Plains Game) towards Savuti. Hope our herd of 30 lions haven’t left the area and if not you will hear the real song “Where the lion sleeps tonight” during the night.

Day 7:
By now you will be experts in identifying most animals and soon we will reach the thick sand road through Chobe Forrest Reserve, the Village of Parakarungu and into Chobe National Park. Outstanding on our list was Buffalo……. Reach Kasane where your afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River awaits you, for this is certainly a high point.

Day 8:
It is with sadness but good memories that we say goodbye. Cross border back into Zimbabwe in time to catch your flight back to Johannesburg.
